Virtual Assistant Opening

Fathering Together is seeking an organized, reliable, independent, and self-motivated individual to serve as a Virtual Assistant to aid the Executive Director and Chief Information Officer. Candidates are required to perform a variety of complex and confidential duties for these individuals. This is a contracted, temporary position and will report to the Executive Director.

Candidates shall exercise good professional judgment with the ability to accomplish assigned administrative tasks with minimal supervision.  Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing with strong positive customer service skills are a must. The candidates shall have experience working with the Google Suite of Products and Microsoft Office products. Experience with social media, including Facebook is preferred. 

This Virtual Assistant will provide some of the following services: 

  • Coordination of Schedules
  • Editing and Proofreading of documents
  • Data mining
  • Organizational skills
  • Excel Data Entry
  • Web Research
  • Web Scraping
  • Email Coordination
  • Lead Generation
  • Facebook / Instagram / Twitter post scheduling
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED.  An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Hourly Rate: $10-$15 and hours per week are flexible.

Christopher is the co-founder of Fathering Together and the Chief Information Officer. He is the father of 2 daughters that are now in their tweens and teens. He started Dad of Divas, a blog to share his own personal experiences in being a father in 2007 and in 2018 started the Dads With Daughters Facebook Group to allow dads to connect, learn and grow together. He works in Digital Media on a daily basis, but also has over 20 years of experience in higher education administration.
