Fathering Together’s Response to the Derek Chauvin Trial

Yesterday, we saw justice for George Floyd and his family with the conviction of Derek Chauvin. But this verdict does not bring back the presence of a father to his children nor his community.

Today and every day forward, Fathering Together will continue to call on our members to be #StandUpDads and work to build a world that is equitable for all our children. As an organization, we recommend supporting our BIPOC fathers who continue to face inequities and are forced to prepare their children to face disparities. A world very different from the one white fathers raises their children within.
