Damon Crapotta works as a Custodian at CSUN and lives in Granada Hills, CA where he is raising his daughters! Every Dad of the Week answers the following questions, read on to learn more about Damon and his family!

  • What was your first reaction when you found out that you were going to be a father?
    • I was overjoyed.
  • When you knew you were going to be a father, who or where did you turn to for advice?
    • Friends.
  • How would your kids describe you as a dad?
    • Fun, devoted. 
  • What has been the largest challenge you have had in being a father?
    • Balancing work and home time. 
  • Looking back on your life as a father, what would you change if you could?
    • Nothing.
  • What do you do for fun with your children?
    • Play outside, play board games like Scrabble. 
  • What advice would you give to other dads?
    • Spend as much time as you can with your children. 
  • How have you come to balance fatherhood and outside life?
    • I have to make a concerted effort to make time for myself. 
  • What have been the most memorable experiences that you have had thus far as a father?
    • Just watching my daughters’ grow and develop into amazing, beautiful human beings
