Fathering Together Kenya chapter was officially launched on the 4th of September 2021 in six counties across the country. The chapter is led by our volunteer Dr. Francis Kangure with an advisory board of six members formed in August 2021. The launch took place in six counties across the country which are: Nairobi, Nakuru, Mombasa, Kiambu, Laikipia and Kwale.

Nearly 150 dads joined in-person and online to create plans for the future of fatherhood in Kenya. The largest attendance came from Kwale and Laikipia Counties

October 23rd 2021 – Mental Health for Dads Forum
For Fathering Together Kenya’s Mental Health for Dads Forum, 30 dads showed up in-person and 82 joined the virtual forum. George Njoroge, a clinical psychologist with Chiromo Medical Centre, talked to participants on how to enhance good mental health practices. He touched on some of the major causes of mental health in men and encouraged fathers to always seek help once they found themselves in challenging situations.
